Wow has it been nearly 2 years since I posted anything on here?? Apparently it has! Man has time flown!
I wanted to post a little update since I may try posting a little on here from time to time!
I've been working for the past 4 years as a 3D artist in serious games but just recently left my day job doing that to pursue freelancing and doing character art full time! So you could call me a 3D character artist now! You can see some of my work on my artstation and website but I'll try to remember to share some here from time to time.
For the past 2 years I've been working closely with a great friend and colleague of mine on a visual novel game that, hopefully, will fully launch in Summer of 2022. You can find some updates on that from LazerBreadGames on twitter! I'm also far more active on twitter so feel free to find me there and also on instagram!
I hope everyone has been doing well, especially despite all of the crazy that 2020 has been.

Hey guys!!!
I've been gone from here for entirely too long and I have so much to share with all of you!
First things first... I'm getting married
Back in March, my loving boyfriend turned fiancee that I have been with since high school for over 4 1/2 years now asked me to be his wife and of course I couldn't turn him down.
I didn't realize that I hadn't shared with all of you and I feel silly for forgetting but life has been a crazy ride!
We moved into an apartment by ourselves about 2 months ago and brought my best pupper of 6 years, Ratchet, with us so we are our own little family already! Our wedding is still a whiles down the road but more on that later!
Second, I make VR games for a living now
Yeah, real games!! Right now I work as one of two 3D artists at a local company here in research park working on virtual reality games and simulators using unreal engine. I would share more but it's actually illegal for me to disclose projects sooo...
I started there back in May and worked full time over the summer and continue to work part time now during school and I love it. Getting paid to make video games (even if it is "serious games" like simulators and what not) is just amazing.
I want to thank a lot of you guys for supporting me as I was a young artist (still am but you get my point haha) and helping build the foundation for where I am today.
Hopefully expect me to post more work soon!

Hey guysssssss, it has been forever since I was on here. TnT
I wanted to let everyone know that I'm still alive and doing fine, just very very busy with school. *cries*
Anyhow, I wanted everyone to know that I also have an artstation account which I have been using for basically all of my 3D work (except for a few things lately) and what not so I've posted stuff there if you want to take a look!

Also, I have been drawing guys, just not anything that I have wanted to post, AND a few months ago I invested in a used Wacom Cintiq Companion which has helped SOOOOOOOOOOO much, and I also have some awesome news!
About a week ago I finished my first contract work and will have my first assets in a REAL video game in the next coming months!
I did some work for the game Salt made by Lavaboots Studios which is actually a local indie company and they will be implementing my stuff in an update soon! I made them a cute little bird complete with his necessary set of animations such as flying, gliding, chirping, and dying, and then also some eggs and a nest, so it isn't much but guys I got paid to make game assets!

Salt is in early access on Steam and I actually do enjoy it! It's a pirate themed exploration kind of game (multiplayer is planned to be rolled out before my birds probably )
But yeah, what a milestone for me!
Also after some encouragement from friends, I applied to a marketing/community internship at Insomniac in Raleigh, NC, so that was nerve wracking!

Class Time and I'm a Vice President!

First off I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! My birthday was AMAZING and I had so much fun at the water park and exploring the town! 
Tomorrow my Fall classes start, so a little slow down (again) on art and of course some 3D stuff to come! I'm very excited for class! I plan to post character concepts here for all of my projects so hopefully that and a stream of 3D progress stuff will keep you guys entertained!
Also, we held elections today for the officers of our animation, film, and video game club (known as Charger Studios) and I was elected Vice President!
I'm very excited for this group and our first order of business is a game jam we are holding in a few weeks. I'll keep you guys posted and what not!
